Last Friday and Saturday the team traveled to Buckeye to play the Metro Invitational at Sundance Golf Club. There were 13 teams including last years 2A and 3A State Champions.

Coach Pate of Winslow sent this photo of a near hole in one of a tumbleweed during our first match. I know a couple of players saying they got hit by these rascals. What fun spring golf is in the north-east.

Windy, windy first match

Wow what wind!!!! With gusts of 50+ Mph winds our first match which was scheduled to be an 18 hole match became a 9 hole match. With a shotgun start all played 9 holes, just not the exact same holes. But with the high winds it was best to call it after 9 holes. With all that here are the results.
